Welcome to Royal Ethiopia Tours. By booking a tour or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making any reservation.
1. Booking and Payment
All bookings with Royal Ethiopia Tours must be made in advance through our website, email, or authorized representatives. A deposit is required to confirm your reservation, with the remaining balance due before the start of the tour or upon arrival, depending on the agreement. Payments can be made via bank transfer, online payment platforms, or other approved methods.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing. Refund eligibility depends on the timing of the cancellation:
More than 30 days before arrival: full refund minus service fees
15–30 days before arrival: partial refund
Less than 15 days: no refund
Royal Ethiopia Tours reserves the right to cancel or modify tours due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, safety concerns, or operational issues. In such cases, alternative arrangements or partial refunds may be offered.
3. Changes to Itinerary
While we aim to follow the planned itinerary, Royal Ethiopia Tours reserves the right to make changes due to local conditions, availability, or force majeure events. Any changes will be made in the best interest of the client to ensure safety and quality of experience.
4. Travel Insurance
All clients are strongly advised to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, personal injury, loss of luggage, and evacuation. Royal Ethiopia Tours is not responsible for any costs incurred due to lack of insurance.
5. Health and Safety
Travelers are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit for the tour and have obtained necessary vaccinations or medications. Clients must follow local laws, respect cultural practices, and comply with the instructions of guides at all times.
6. Liability
Royal Ethiopia Tours acts as an intermediary between clients and service providers such as hotels, airlines, and transport companies. While we carefully select our partners, we are not liable for injuries, losses, delays, or damages caused by third parties, natural disasters, or events beyond our control.
7. Passport and Visa
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and any required travel documents. Royal Ethiopia Tours is not responsible for denied entry or travel disruptions caused by incomplete documentation.
8. Accommodation and Services
Accommodation is provided as per the agreed itinerary. In case of unavailability, similar standard alternatives will be arranged. Any additional services not included in the package will be charged separately.
9. Code of Conduct
Clients are expected to behave respectfully toward local communities, cultures, and environments. Royal Ethiopia Tours reserves the right to remove any traveler from a tour without refund if their behavior is disruptive or harmful.
